Emma Frost – Lady's Guide To Sparkling Repartee – Ryan K Lindsay
Dakota: You look like a slut.
2. Frost smiles knowingly.
Frost: …
Frost: As opposed to the woman who sleeps with the married man?
3. Frost is walking away.
Frost: I’d laugh if I wasn’t worried you’d find it attractive and switch hit on me.
4. Dakota looks on at Frost with frustration.
5. Dakota puts her hands up to her mouth to amplify what she says.
Dakota: But at least I don’t look like a slut.
Emma Frost - Diamonds Before Swine - Maxy Barnard
So here's a completely random page picked out of the blue of a non-existant story where Emma Frost and Kitty Pryde are having to deal with the fact that all the X-*MEN* have been turned into pigs by a mysterious assailant (kept schtum because AHAHA you don't need to know in this page!). Enjoy, comment, hate, et cetera.
Oh, an aside, because visuals would have been laid out earlier in the story, this is current continuity, so space-suit Kitty is involved, because I love it. And all the X-Pigs have their costumes on and pig-sized, natch.
-------------------------------------------
#.1
Kitty Pryde is holding up Pig-Colossus, her head turned away in disgust, face all scrunched up.
Kitty: Well, THIS can only make our relationship more tragic and non-physical. Ew.
#.2
A full-body panel of Emma entering the room with he chest puffed out and looking down her nose, having taken her sweet-ass time and proud of it. On the floor just next to her Pig-Cyclops is rolling on his back as pigs are wont to do.
Emma: Oh the horror of it all, Pryde, when you have to find more reasons to angst over your thoroughly dull love li-
#.3
Emma's legs are at the edge of the frame, mid-transformation into diamond, as Pig-Cyclops rubs himself against them. Also in the background of the shot are Pig-Wolverine and Pig-Dr. Nemesis, trying to bite each other to death.
Emma: -oh, Scott...
#.4
Emma (now fully into her diamond form) kicks Pig-Cyclops across the room (and towards the reader), just missing Kitty's head by mere centimetres. Pig-Cyclops is squealing in terror and firing eye-beams every which way.
Emma: You disgust me now as much as ever.
Pig-Cyclops: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-----*
#.5
Kitty is yelling angrily and flailing her arms towards Emma, who just raises her face higher than ever, so as to better look down her nose at Kitty (think to the point of parody with this look, just go crazy as you'd like).
Kitty: Emma, what are you doing?! That's still Scott in there! AND you almost broke my suit, you insufferable cow!
Emma: *sigh*... Pryde... Kitty...
#.6
Low angle close-up on Emma's snooty smirking face, so as to accentuate just how much she can look down her nose.
Emma: I know. And I can read minds. So I can tell you with assurance that these men are as they have always been...
#.7
We look over the shoulders of both Kitty and Emma as they look down at the X-Pigs. Pig-Cyclops is unconscious, all swirling stars and spiral eyes, Pig-Dr. Nemesis is standing victorious over Pig-Wolverine's thoroughly beaten body and Pig-Colossus is staring up at Kitty with heart-shaped eyes.
Emma: Pigs.

Emma Frost – Cold Shoulder - Ben Rosenthal
The following takes place after Uncanny X-Men #534. Emma has just told Scott Summers that she wiped Sebastian Shaw’s mind.
I am not usually one to describe the sizing of panels, but Panel 2 should be larger than the others. The final 3 should be all of the same size, and appear on the same line.
1. Emma sits in her bed, night ware still on. The bedding still covers her lower torso, with Emma looking nonplussed.
Scott darling, it’s not that big of deal.
2. Scott Summers is standing beside the bed, also in his bed attire (I’m guessing just wearing boxers). He has his hands extended in outrage. Emma is slightly more animated than in the previous panel.
Don’t patronise me Emma! Do you remember what happened the last time someone’s mind got wiped by a powerful telepath?
EMMA (1)
Oh please Scott this is completely different. You’re being a tad precious about the whole thing.
SCOTT (2)
No Emma. You made a drastic decision without consulting anyone. As your partner both privately and professionally you should have discussed this with me.
EMMA (2)
Just like you discussed the forming of a hit squad with me?
SCOTT (3)
That was a decision made to protect an entire race. The only person protected by your decision was you.
3. Scott has turned away from Emma, his head slightly bowed as if he is finally saying something which he has known he would have to say for some time.
Just when I think you’ve turned a corner, you show that you’re still the same egomaniacal, self-centred person you always have been.
4. A close up of Emma’s eye, open wide in shock
I think you should leave.
5. Same as Panel 4, however a tear is falling from the eye.
6. Same framing as Panel 4, but Emma’s eye no longer looks shocked, but hurt. Her skin has turned to diamond, the tear gone because of it.

Emma Frost - You Can't Handle The Truth - Rol Hirst
This scene takes place at the climax of a story in which Scott Summers suspects Emma Frost of keeping secrets from him. He’s confronted her, demanding to know the truth, and Emma has been her usual evasive self. She’s tried every trick in the book to divert his attention, confuse and confound him… but through sheer force of will, Cyclops appears to have backed her into a corner…
Panel One.
The mindscape. A blank white background in this panel. Scott (or his mental projection) stands, naked, but undaunted staring straight at us. We see him from the waist up since I’ve no desire to see Cyclops’ one eye. He isn’t wearing his visor or his ruby quartz glasses since he doesn’t need them here. He looks stern, demanding.
Scott: Tell me the truth, Emma. For once in your life… please… tell me the truth.
Panel Two.
Wider shot. Scott is in the foreground, facing away from us, staring across at Emma Frost. She is wearing her sexiest, most outrageous outfit… all part of her diversionary tactics. But those tactics appear to have failed, and now Emma appears defeated. She turns away from Scott, shamefaced, as though she can’t look him in the eye. Behind them, the mindscape change to an image of Magneto, rising triumphant above the fallen bodies of various X-Men, Avengers et al.
Emma: All right, darling, if… if you insist…
Emma: Erik will turn on us. It’s happened before, it’ll happen again.
Emma: He won’t be able to help himself…
Emma: The truth, Scott…?
Panel Three.
Close on Emma, turning to face Scott, the shame replaced by a wicked smile, fire in her eyes.
Emma: That helmet only ever protected him from Charles.
Panel Four.
Scott is shocked, frozen to the spot. He suspected Emma of something… but nothing like this. She strides towards him now, confident, still smiling… The mindscape is a jumbled mass of Ditko-chaos, reflecting Scott’s reaction.
Emma: You see, darling, I get so terribly, terribly bored…
Panel Five.
Emma leans in and kisses Scott on the cheek…
Emma: But you shouldn’t worry your pretty little head about things like that…
The next page would show Cyclops waking up in bed beside Emma having completely forgotten everything that has just happened. But we, the readers, will now know the truth…
Why Emma Frost?
It's not about the lingerie.
Really it isn't.
Emma Frost is a fascinating character. A telepath, a manipulator, an arrogant, haughty White Queen who's seen terrible things and been forced to mend her ways as a result. Or has she...?
She's a sexually precocious, blatantly provocative temptress who's found love in the last place she'd ever imagine - an uptight, judgemental do-gooder. Being with Scott Summers has had a profound effect on the way Emma sees the world. Or... has it?
She's a teacher, the kind all young boys dream will keep them behind after class, and all young girls secretly want to be... even the ones who call her a bitch behind her back. Better watch out though, she's a teacher who could very well be listening in on your daydreams and gossip... not that she'd ever violate the trust of her students in such a way. Or... would she?
We never quite know with Emma. Even after all this time, we're never entirely sure we can trust her. And that's probably just the way she wants it. That's why Emma Frost...
Well, that and the lingerie.
