Gamora - The Deadliest Girlfriend in The Universe - Matt Duarte
This page is to be set in six panels, three on the top, and three on the bottom. I know it doesn’t exactly fit in with the current continuity, but bear with me.
Panel 1
Description: Nova and Gamora, both in their full costume, are standing in front of a door, that is being opened by Nova’s dad (Charles Rider). While Nova looks confident and happy, Gamora looks very annoyed about being there, she is about to meet Richard’s parents for the first time. We are seeing this from inside the house. Charles is wearing typical dad clothes, some khaki pants and a polo shirt.
CHARLES: Richard, good to see you! And this... extravagantly dressed young lady must be...
NOVA: Dad, this is Gamora
GAMORA: Salutations, Mister Rider.
NOVA: And we are both VERY HAPPY to be here for Thanksgiving.
Panel 2
Description: Nova, Gamora and Charles Rider are now inside the house, walking through a very common looking living room. We can now see that strapped in Gamora’s belt is Godslayer, her incredibly powerful sword. Nova and his dad are talking as they walk, while she looks around the room.
CHARLES: Your mother misses you very much. She got a dog to keep her company while I’m at work. A pug. Wait until you see the ridiculous little thing.
Panel 3
Description: The pug is now in front of the group. Gamora is now shouting, and has grabbed her sword, raising it as if to strike the dog. Nova is jumping to try to stop her, while his dad looks in horror as the scene unfolds.
GAMORA: RICHARD! Beware! It is a Deathly Venomous Canidae from the Omega Nebula! I will dispatch of it!
Panel 4
Description: Gamora now sits in Nova’s bed in his old bedroom, which is full of geeky posters and action figures. She is grabbing her head in frustration. Nova has just walked into the room.
GAMORA: This is a disaster, I should have never come. I have ruined your family’s celebration.
NOVA: Look, it was a misunderstanding, it could happen to anyone. And besides, I just talked to the vet, and he says that the dog will regain full use of its remaining two legs.
GAMORA: You are not helping, Richard.
Panel 5
Description: Gamora has stood up and is now embracing Richard in a sensual manner. He looks slightly embarrassed while she has that look in her eyes.
GAMORA: Perhaps some... celebratory relaxation will help.
NOVA: In my parents’ house?!
GAMORA: I like to live dangerously, Richard.
Panel 6
Description: The living room again. This time, it’s only Charles and his wife Gloria are sitting in the couch. They look frustrated and angry.
SFX: THUMP THUMP THUMP
NOVA (off-panel): Blue Blazes!
GAMORA (off-panel): Oh, my little human rocket!
GLORIA: Of all the women in the universe, he had to date this one?
CHARLES: I think I liked it better when he was a nerd and he didn’t have any luck with women.
Gamora - Dojo of the Deadliest Woman - Max Barnard
... Faiza Hussain is a recent and inexperienced hero who also uses a sword. THE sword. Excalibur.
-------------------------------------------------------
Page 1 - X Panels
1-- Excalibur and Gamora's sword clash violently against a background composed entirely of stars. Gamora's sword is overpowering Excalibur, taking up more of the panel.
SFX - KLANGGGG!
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - Hey! Take it easy on me, why don't you!
2-- We can now see both Gamora and Faiza fighting, in a training room on the S.W.O.R.D. satellite. The room itself is sparse, containing nothing but our two combatants. The edge of the room is a large window looking out into space. We can now also kinda-sorta see some of Earth in the background, but it shouldn't be TOO noticeable, else it distract from the scene itself. Gamora has swung at Faiza, who has JUST dodged out of the way. Gamora's sword has collided with the floor, taking with it a scrap of Faiza's outfit
SPEECH BUBBLE/GAMORA - Oh quit your d'ast whining, girl! I was hired to teach you how to use that chunk of metal and you're gonna bloody well fight back properly!
SFX - Fwump!
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - Eek!
3-- Faiza is yelling off the panel to Gamora, holding up Excalibur to protect herself.
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - Look here! I know you're some sort of ruddy "Deadliest Woman" deal, but there's such a thing as using the carrot instead of the stick you cow! So teach me, instead of trying to knock my block off!
4-- Close-up on Gamora, who is looking sad and ever so slightly downtrodden.
5-- Faiza, in same shot as panel 3, but now looking a bit distraught, hand up to her mouth in shock at how much she just flipped her lid.
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - Oh goodness! I'm so sorry, I know you're just trying to he--
6-- This panel should probably overlap with the previous, so that the panel itself cuts off Faiza's speech bubble. Gamora has leapt at Faiza with a sword strike, which Faiza appears to have only JUST managed to block.
SFX - KER-KLANG-A-LANG!
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - Gah! What in the world are you doing?!
SPEECH BUBBLE/GAMORA - Be prepared! Any enemy could try and manipulate you emotionally, and THAT is when they strike!
7-- Gamora is standing in an defensive stance, sword in both hands, gritting her teeth.
SPEECH BUBBLE/GAMORA - You think I get offended when people don't understand where I'm coming from? I trained She-Hulk for %$#&'s sake! You have to have a pretty thick skin for that! I'm the deadliest woman for a reason, Hussain. It's because I'm the toughest d'ast bitch out there, and I'm damn good at what I do. Now stop dithering about and HIT ME!
8-- Faiza is smiling, and has lifted Excalibur, ready to strike.
SPEECH BUBBLE/FAIZA HUSSAIN - She-Hulk? Come on, I'm SO much better than her, the insane witch. Let's go!
TEXT BOX/NARRATION - So Faiza had learnt the most crucial lesson: that Gamora is pretty much bad-ass. The end.*
TEXT BOX/EDITOR'S NOTE - *Wait, what? When did she learn that! Are we just out of space?** - Moaning Max
TEXT BOX/EDITOR'S NOTE - **Yes, quit whining. - Still Max

Gamora - Worse Ways To Go - Rol Hirst
Panel One.
Gamora stands on a high school playing field amid the eviscerated corpses of an entire football team. Blood is dripping from her dagger and there’s a wicked smile on her lips. Above her, a spaceship casts a light on the pitch – as though she’s just beamed down for the slaughter.
An archetypal high school nerd (Jimmy) steps towards her holding a wilted bouquet of flowers.
CAPTION (JIMMY): It was love at first sight.
JIMMY: That was fanTAStic. You’re, like, the girl I’ve been waiting for all my life, dude…
Panel Two.
In the high school cafeteria. Jimmy is eating an unappetising school dinner while two snotty ‘mean girl’ types look on, sneering at him and his new girlfriend. Gamora, sitting across the table from Jimmy, has just shot two donut-hole sized holes through the girls’ foreheads while they’re still in mid-bitch.
GIRL A: Look at Jimmy with his new ho’ – they think they’re too cool for sch--
GIRL B: Yeah - what a bee-yotc--
SFX: Zoop! Zoop!
CAPTION: I’d never met anyone like Gamora before. She was just so wild, so exciting… so dangerous.
Panel Three.
At the school dance, Jimmy and Gamora are slow-dancing while Jimmy’s classmates stand around looking jealous, awestruck, frightened and disdainful. (Different expressions for different people!) Jimmy has one hand in the small of Gamora’s back, the other is going up for second base. Gamora is smiling wickedly again.
CAPTION: We were the envy of everyone.
CAPTION: Of course, I knew it couldn’t last.
Panel Four.
Jimmy’s bedroom. Typical teenage geek’s room – metal posters on the walls, comics and clothes scattered on the floor, a gaming console in the corner. On the bed, Jimmy and Gamora are getting it on. Jimmy’s down to his boxers, Gamora’s in her skimpiest metallic underwear. They’re both dripping in sweat. Gamora’s on top, obviously. She’s just ripped Jimmy’s still beating heart out of his chest and is arching her back as she holds her prize before her. The heart is glowing like a jewel. She's satisfied - her mission is complete.
CAPTION: Turns out I’d been alien-abducted as a baby and the bug-eyed bastards had stashed some kooky ultimate nullifier space-doohickey in my left ventricle which could only be activated if my heart rate reached a peak of 221 bpm… or something.
CAPTION: Dude, like there are worse ways to go.

Gamora - Revelations - Ben Rosenthal
The following panels take place on a 3-line grid. The first two panels are on the first line, and are of equal size. Panels 3 – 6 take place on the second line of the grid, and can vary on size. However they should all be small in order to convey the speed of the situation (if you have a better idea on how to convey these panels, I’m open to any suggestions.). The last two panels appear on the last line of the grind, and are of equal size.
The following page takes place in the middle of a storyline in which the evil Magus (an alternate reality version of Adam Warlock) has claimed the throne of the Shi’ar Empire.
In previous pages, Magus’ hooded wife, from his dimension, is battling with Gamora and Adam Warlock. During the course of the fight, Magus’ wife is unhooded and is revealed to be an alternate version of Gamora...or so we are lead to believe.
We join the comic at a point where Adam has just been stabbed by Alternate Gamora’s sword. He is lying on the ground, but still conscious. He watches as an enraged Gamora battles Alternate Gamora to a standstill. Alternate Gamora is on the ground, looking up at Gamora who has the tip of her sword pointed at Alternate Gamora’s throat (confused yet?).
1. We see this panel side on. Gamora is standing, two hands on the helm of her broad sword. It is pointed directly at Alternate Gamora’s throat. Alternate Gamora looks much like Gamora, however has a few more battle scars, including a very pronounced scar on her right cheek. Alternate Gamora is looking up at Gamora, with a sadistic smile on her face. She has both hands on the blade of the sword, stopping it from cutting into her skin. Blood from her hands spills down the blade. Between the two, in the background, he wounded Adam Warlock lays, one hand propping him up, the other pressed against his wound on his stomach.
“I hope you said sufficient goodbyes when you left your home dimension, for you shall never see it again.”
“Is that what you think? Heh, I am not an alternate version of you...”
2. This is a tighter shot on Adam, propped up and in pain. His face shows confusion.
“...Adam is not an alternate version of Magus.”
ADAM
“What do you mean?”
3. In a swift movement (which could be shown in a similar fashion as to when Spider-Man moves at a fast and nimble pace in one panel), Alternate Gamora pushes the blade of the sword up as she jumps to her feet.
4. Alternate Gamora flips backwards, striking Gamora on the chin with her feet. Gamora’s head snaps back on impact.
5. Alternate Gamora has landed, and is seen to be pulling a blade from the sleeve of her hooded robe.
6. A close up of Gamora’s face as the sword cuts deep into her right cheek.
GAMORA
“ARGH”
7. Gamora is on one knee, standing beside Adam. Her sword is at her feet. Blood flows freely from the fresh wound on her check. The cut is deep.
“You find a way to harness the power of the Time Gem.”
8. A close up of Alternate Gamora smiling sadistically. The scar on her right cheek matches the one she just gave Gamora.
“You are us.”
From here Gamora and Adam obviously have to find a way out of the fight, decide if they believe what Alternate Gamora has said, fight the new King and Queen of the Shi’ar Empire, all while trying to ignore the feelings they have for each other.

Gamora – Not The Good Time You’re Looking For – Ryan K Lindsay
1. A circle of no good long hairs sit around with some candles between them and one lone incense oil burner. It’s a dark and moist room.
Caption: The smell of greasy lank hair fills the room. They think it overpowers the cheap lavender incense in the middle of them. It doesn’t.
Caption: They’re hoping the fact they just experienced carnal knowledge while under the influence of perception altering drugs is going to summon a queen they really know nothing about.
2. One of these goons is looking up in shock as a green skinned beauty appears before them.
Caption: They’ve been mistakenly calling her Gomorrah. And worshipping her as such.
3. Another goon comes behind Gamora with an ornate and filthy blade.
Caption: They thought a decorative blade bought from one of those pot shops would be enough to fell their queen in an orgy of blood.
4. A red panel.
Caption: Most of them thought the following was perhaps just a dream or some drug fugue.
Caption: Dying and not believing it’s real is actually a nicer way to go.
5. Gamora is walking away from the massacred group. She doesn’t look happy.
Caption: Killing and knowing you have no alternative is not so pleasant.
Caption: Drug addled no goods fight til they’re hamburger.
6. Gamora looks to her left and we see revealed the real reason she is there, Mystique.
Mystique: C’mon, you thought that was it?
Mystique: They had no way to get you here…but I did.
Mystique: And an even better reason.
